About

PeeriX (Peer Exchange) is a group of technology veterans with professional experience spanning few decades. We have been programming since the era of IBM 360s and DEC’s VAXStations, Apple II, early days PCs on 808x, DEC Alphas to modern day CPU architectures.

We have been developing software on all major operating systems (OS), but our core expertise is UNIX based systems.

From high-frequency trading systems to biometric authentication and payments systems, we have deep and wide knowledge of what is involved in building performant, reliable and secure software.

Some of the PeeriX’s team members we involved in building Internet Service Providers (ISP) at the early days of public Internet in Bulgaria’s 1990s.

We also operated technology organisation under the same name, providing consulting, web and mail hosting services from 151 Front Street in Toronto which was the main interconnect for all major carriers in Canada in the early 2000s.

We are members of Réseaux IP Européens (RIPE) and operate our own Provider Independent (PI) assignments and have own Autonomous System (AS) - AS44794 allowing us to route our services Internet traffic more efficiently.

We also operate an Anycast Network via separate AS allocation (AS62303) which we use as a building block for latency optimised network services that we develop.
